Cairo giants Zamalek advanced to the 2021 Egypt’s Cup final after defeating Aswan 2-1 at the semi-finals at Arab Contractors Stadium.
The deadlock was broken within the first 10 minutes when striker Mohamed Naggi opened the scoring for the Upper Egypt side in the 9th minute. Then Zamalek’s defender Mahmoud Alaa equalised in the 33rd minute.
The Whites’ playmaker Youssef Obama scored the winner in the 36th minute.
Zamalek will now wait for its opponent as Al-Ahly, Pyramids FC, Petrojet and Enppi are still competing in the tournament’s quarter-finals.
