CAIRO — Zamalek was forced to settle for a goalless draw against Enppi on Monday evening at the Cairo International Stadium.
That slip cost them some valuable points in the Egyptian Premier League title race during the fourth round of the Championship playoffs.
Despite the setback, Zamalek remains top of the standings with 50 points, while Enppi occupies sixth place on 36.
Enppi came out strong, putting pressure early and forcing Zamalek’s defense to work hard.
The White Knights pushed back, attacking in waves and creating some clear chances, but just couldn’t find the net, as the match ultimately ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
