Zamalek has strengthened its position at the top of the Egyptian Premier League after a narrow 1-0 win against Pyramids FC.
The match was played at Cairo International Stadium and remained competitive until the final minutes, as both teams fought for control of the title race.
The only goal of the game was scored by Juan Becerra in the 84th minute. This late strike secured three important points for Zamalek, allowing them to move five points ahead of their rivals in the standings.
With this win, Zamalek now leads the league with 49 points. Pyramids FC stays in second place with 44 points, the same total as Al Ahly in third.
Other clubs like Ceramica Cleopatra and Enppi follow closely behind as the final stage of the season continues.
