Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports dr.Ashraf Sobhi congratulated Egyptian table tennis champion Hana Gouda on snatching the Croatia U-17 International Championship for Table Tennis.

Gouda has become a table tennis miracle , especially following the successive victory after in just two days, clinching the two titles of the Croatian Open Table Tennis Championships for under-17 and under-19 girls.

Gouda snatched tournament after defeating Japanese player, Imida Manami, 1-3, and Ukrainian player Anastasia Bondir 0-3, then defeating Indian player Sialya Rajesh 0-3.

Sports and Youth Minister Sobhi stressed support for Gouda and praised her strong will and determination to win many titles for herself and her country.

Minister Sobhi also asserted that the Egyptian state – under the political leadership –offered all support for Egyptian table tennis in all championships, adding that snatching an Olympic medal is a major reason for the successive achievements of champions in various games. This, he added, will help elevate the image of Egypt in the international forums , especially in preparations for joining the Olympics in 2024 and 2028.
