CAIRO– Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhi on Sunday congratulated Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah who became Liverpool’s all-time top scorer in the English Premier League after scoring twice in a wide 7-0 victory against Manchester United.
In statements, the minister said that Salah is considered as an Egyptian icon in the English Premier League and other European leagues.
He wished him more success in his professional life in the upcoming period.
Salah has now netted 129 goals in 203 Premier League games since joining the club in 2017 to break Robbie Fowler’s 128 goals haul in the English League for the Reds.
He also became the first Liverpool player to score in six consecutive appearances in all competitions against Manchester United.
