CAIRO – Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhy has congratulated Egypt’s national handball team on advancing to the semi-final of the Men’s Youth World Championship, hosted by Croatia, after beating Faroe Islands 38-34.
The minister hailed the national team’s performance, highlighting the support of the political leadership for all athletes to achieve unprecedented achievements in different tournaments.
The 2023 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship is the 10th edition of the championship, held from 2 to 13 August 2023 in Croatia under the aegis of International Handball Federation (IHF).
