Egyptian wrestler Samar Hamza captured the gold medal in the women’s 76 kg freestyle category at the Mediterranean Games, delivering a standout performance in the final against Türkiye’s Kadriye Koçak.
Hamza secured the medal with a 5–3 victory in the final match, controlling the tempo to claim the top spot on the podium and add another prestige title to Egypt’s medal tally.
