CAIRO — Egypt’s Youth and Sports Minister Gohar Nabil hosted a ceremony at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Capital to honour Egypt’s youth national padel team following its victory in the inaugural FIP Junior Africa Padel Cup, held in Alexandria.
In his remarks at the honoring ceremony, Nabil applauded the team’s achievement, describing it as indicative of the advancement of Egyptian sport and the success of national athlete development programs, backed by state’s relentless support for the sports sector.
The minister pledged continued support for national teams across all levels, with the aim of achieving further titles and raising Egypt’s profile in continental and international competitions.
