The Egypt national football team achieved a dominant 5–0 victory over South Sudan in the second round of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Mostafa Ziko opened the scoring for Egypt in the 38th minute, giving his team a lead going into halftime.
Early in the second half, Omar Marmoush extended the advantage by scoring in the 49th minute, followed by a third goal from Ibrahim Adel in the 75th minute.
Marmoush scored his second goal of the match in the 84th minute, and young player Hamza Abdelkarim sealed the win during stoppage time with his first-ever international goal.
This match is part of the qualification journey for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, which will be co-hosted by Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
