CAIRO — Germany’s Embassy in Cairo has congratulated Egypt’s national football team on their victory over Australia and qualification for the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup.
In a post on its official Facebook page, the embassy extended its congratulations to the Egyptian team and people on the achievement, wishing the Pharaohs continue success in the tournament.
“Congratulations, Pharaohs! Congratulations to the Egyptian national team and the Egyptian people on reaching the round of 16 of the World Cup. We wish you all the best in the next stage of your journey and share your joy over this achievement,” the embassy said.
