In contrast, Ismaily and Ceramica Cleopatra were pushed to the brink—Ismaily emerging triumphant after a tense penalty shootout and Ceramica weathering a late scare to protect their first-leg advantage.
With the semi-final line-up now confirmed, excitement is building across the landscape ahead of two high-stakes showdowns scheduled for June 6.
Ceramica Cleopatra will face off against Ismaily in the first semi-final, while Enppi is set to clash with NBE Club in a battle of two in-form sides.

NBE Club 1-0 Modern Sport
NBE Club punched their ticket to the semi-finals of the Egypt Capital Cup with a confident 1–0 victory over Modern Sport in the second leg of the quarter-finals, held at Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo.
The decisive goal came in the 17th minute when striker Osama Faisal capitalized on a defensive scramble inside the box. Modern Sport defender Mahmoud Rizk attempted to intercept, but the ball ricocheted off Faisal and into the net.
With a 3–0 aggregate win over two legs, NBE Club now awaits the outcome of the remaining quarter-final fixtures to learn their opponent in the semi-finals.
Ismaily edges El-Geish in shootout thriller
Ismaily held their nerve in a tense penalty shootout to overcome Talae El-Geish 5–4 and secure a place in the semi-finals of the Egypt Capital Cup, following a goalless stalemate in both legs of their quarter-final clash.
The second leg, played at the Military Sports Authority Stadium, mirrored the first in terms of intensity and missed chances, ending 0–0 after regular time.
With nothing to separate the sides over 180 minutes, the match was decided from the spot, where Ismaily emerged victorious in dramatic fashion.
El-Hodood 1–0 Enppi (Aggregate: 2–1 Enppi)
Enppi secured their place in the semi-finals despite a narrow 1–0 defeat to Haras El-Hodood in the second-leg of the quarter-finals, held at Max Stadium in Alexandria.
El-Hodood’s Hazem Mohamed struck in the dying seconds of stoppage time to seal the win, but it wasn’t enough to overturn Enppi’s 2–1 aggregate advantage from the first-leg.
Earlier in the match, Enppi striker Ahmed Amin “Oufa” had a goal ruled out for offside in the 35th minute.
Enppi will now meet NBE Club in a highly anticipated semi-final clash on June 6.
Petrojet 1–0 Ceramica (Aggregate: 4–2 Ceramica)
Petrojet pulled off a surprise 1–0 win over Ceramica Cleopatra at Cairo International Stadium in the second-leg of their quarter-final, but the result fell short of what was needed to advance.
Midfielder Mohamed Reda “Bobo” netted the match-winner in the 34th minute, giving the petroleum side hope. However, Ceramica’s dominant 4–1 first-leg victory proved decisive, sending them through 4–2 on aggregate.
Ceramica Cleopatra will now face Ismaily in the first-leg of the semi-finals, scheduled for June 6.
