LONDON — Jack Grealish is set to return to Everton on another season-long loan from Manchester City, the Press Association understands.

A deal has been agreed between the clubs for the 30-year-old to spend a second campaign with the Toffees, having seen last term’s loan curtailed by a stress fracture which ended his season in January.

Prior to that, Grealish had impressed for the Merseyside club, scoring two goals and adding six assists in 22 appearances.

Grealish remained with Everton during his rehabilitation over the second half of last season, but has appeared twice for City this term, coming off the bench in both the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal and the 2-1 win over Bournemouth on the opening day of the Premier League season.

The deal for Grealish to return to Everton comes at the same time as City have agreed a fee worth up to £65million for Toffees winger Iliman Ndiaye.

Chelsea striker Marc Guiu has joined RB Leipzig on a five-year deal for £14.5million, bringing to an end a two-year stay at Stamford Bridge.

The 20-year-old joined from Barcelona in 2024 for £5m but struggled to make an impact, making only 11 Premier League appearances and failing to score.

He was loaned to Sunderland at the beginning of last season but was recalled after three appearances to cover injuries in attack, though his game time remained limited in west London.

He joins strikers David Datro Fofana, Nicolas Jackson and Liam Delap in having departed Chelsea during the transfer window.

Premier League newcomers Hull have signed German striker Ilyas Ansah from Bundesliga side Union Berlin for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old has agreed a five-year contract with the Tigers and becomes the club’s 13th signing securing promotion to the top flight.

Ansah, a Germany Under-21s international, scored five goals last term.

He told Hull’s website: “I’m very excited. It’s a dream come true for me to play in the Premier League, and for such a big club – it’s really an honour for me.”

The Press Association understands Sunderland are working on a deal for Lyon winger Malick Fofana.

The 21-year-old Belgium international has been given permission to travel to the north east to wrap up a move which would see him sign a contract until 2031.
