CAIRO – Egyptian Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhy inspected final preparations for the 2022 World Fencing Championships, to be held from July 15 to 23, in Cairo, the Sports and Youth Ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, Sobhy periodically contacts the high committee for the championship to be briefed on the latest developments.
The minister wished success for all players and comfort stay in Egypt.
About 956 fencers and their accompanying delegations from 102 countries will take part in the tournament.
