CAIRO – Zamalek and Ismaili walked away with a point apiece after their encounter ended in a goalless draw at the 13th week of the 2023-24 Egyptian Premier League season.

Both sides lacked a cutting edge at Ismailia Stadium.

Zamalek’s new signings Abdallah el-Said and Mohamed Shehata and Nasser Maher were introduced in the game.

Under the helm of Zamalek’s new Portuguese coach Jose Gomes, the White Knights had the better chances as Ismaili goalkeeper Ahmed Adel kept his side on terms with outstanding saves.

The result pushed Zamalek to 13th place in the domestic league standing with 12 points from nine matches as Ismaili remained at 14th place with 12 points from 12 ties.
