WASHINGTON — Egypt’s senior national football team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, continued its training sessions at Gonzaga University Stadium in Spokane, Washington, as part of preparations for its Round of 32 match against Australia on July 3 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Midfielder Hamdi Fathi took part in part of the training session, while Mohamed Salah, Mohamed Abdelmonem, and Ahmed Fotouh continued their rehabilitation exercises.
The training session was attended by Hany Abo Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association and supervisor of the national team; Khaled El-Darandaly, EFA Vice President and head of the delegation; and board members Mohamed El-Sherbiny, Mostafa Abu Zahra, Mohamed Abu Hussein, and Tarek Abou El Enein.
