CAIRO – Egypt, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, is paying prior attention to the development of sports infrastructure, affirmed Youth and Sports Minister Asharf Sobhi.
Egypt has become an international destination for hosting major world sporting tournaments and events thanks to the many advantages enjoyed by its sports facilities and infrastructure, added the minister during an inspection tour of a project titled “Hadaf” at the national football teams center in the Sixth of October City.
Built on a total area of 53,000 meters, the project, which is partially funded by the FIFA, is meant to cope up with the development of the football industry in Egypt, said the minister.
