ROME – Mattia De Sciglio has signed an extension to his Juventus contract which will keep him at the club until 2025, the Serie A side announced.
Italy’s De Sciglio played 29 times for Juve in all competitions last season after returning from a loan at Lyon.
The full-back, 29, has been at the Turin giants since 2017, winning three league titles and an Italian Cup.
Last year, Juve finished fourth in Serie A, failing to win a trophy for the first time since 2010.
De Sciglio has represented his country 40 times, AFP reported.
Juventus and Atletico de Madrid have failed to reach an agreement for Alvaro Morata and the Madrid striker will finally stay with the Spanish side.
Juventus have done everything possible to try to reach an agreement with Atletico for Morata. Massimiliano Allegri wanted to continue counting on the Madrid striker, in whom he has a lot of faith, but it will not be possible.
The Italian club tried to offer several players, but what Atletico Madrid wanted was 35 million euros, which Juve was not willing to pay.
Morata will return to live in Madrid because Simeone will make a place for him.
