LONDON — Liverpool has agreed a £123million deal with Paris St Germain for forward Bradley Barcola.
The Reds have agreed to pay a basic £106m for the France international and up to an extra £17m in potential add-ons.
The 23-year-old is now expected to undergo a medical in the coming days, with a view to completing a move to Anfield before Tuesday’s transfer deadline, the Press Association reported.
Barcola, a member of the PSG squad that has won back-to-back Champions League titles, has been the Merseyside club’s top target throughout the summer.
PSG had initially wanted £145m for the player, which was more than Liverpool were willing to pay, but there was a breakthrough in negotiations earlier this week.
Barcola, who scored three goals at this summer’s World Cup, joined PSG from Lyon in a £38.6m deal in 2023.
