DOHA – African champions Al-Ahly’s football team arrived in Doha, Friday night ahead of the CAF Super Cup match against Raja Casablanca, scheduled on December 22.
EgyptAir operated a special B737-800 flight to ferry Al-Ahly mission to Doha.
In a statement, the national flag carrier said the mission arrived at Cairo International Airport and all travel procedures were completed.
The CAF Super Cup will kick off in the Qatari capital on December 22.
The prestigious clash will see Al-Ahly, winners of the 2020-21 CAF Champions League facing Raja (Morocco), winners of the 2020-21 CAF Confederation Cup, in the annual playoff on the CAF Super Cup title.
