Al Ahly managed to achieve a 2-0 victory on Wednesday night over Enppi in Matchday 32 of the Egyptian Premier League, thanks to the efforts of Luis Miquissone and Mohamed Mahmoud.

Following Wednesday’s win, the team managed to reach 67 points.

First Half

Al-Ahly players started the game by controlling the possession, as they were trying to score the early opener.

In the 18th minute, Enppi had their first chance as Mostafa Shalaby tried his luck and fired a strong shot, but Moustafa Shobier blocked the ball away.

Enppi were close to scoring in the final minutes of the first half, as Shalaby fired another shot but his efforts went over the bar to a goal kick.

Al-Ahly kept pushing to score, but Enppi’s defenders stood their ground to keep their net clean at the break.

Second half

The second half started with the Red Eagles pushing forward to score the opener.

In the 55th minute, Ricardo Soares made three substitutions, as Luis Miquissone, Salah Mohsen, and Mido Nabil joined the game instead of Ahmed Gharib, Rafaat Khalil, and Mohamed Nossier.

However, Enppi were awarded a penalty kick in the 65th minute due to a late challenge against John Ebuka from our defender Sharqia.

Shalaby stood behind the ball and fired a strong shot, but his shot hit the bar.

Al-Ahly players took the rebound and they were close to break the deadline, but Ahmed Abdelkader’s finish was blocked by the keeper.

In the 72nd minute, Al-Ahly managed to find their way to the net as Miqissone’s shot hit the back of the net to gift us a 1-0 lead.

Once again, Moustafa Shobier was needed in the 74th minute, as he deflected Ebuka’s shot away to keep his net clean.

The Red Eagles kept pushing to double the score.
The Reds were close to adding another goal, but Mohsen’s shot was blocked by the keeper.

Soares used his bench once again, as Ziad Tarek and Mohamed Mahmoud joined the game instead of Ahmed Abdelkader and Ahmed Sayed, as the coach was adding more attacking power to Al-Ahly team.

In the 89th minute, they doubled the score, thanks to a sensational finish from Mohamed Mahmoud.

Tarek dribbled past the defender with a beautiful feint and then fired a strong shot, but his efforts were blocked by the keeper. M.Mahmoud collected the rebound and with a staggering left-foot shot, he managed to convert the ball into the back of the net to make it 2-0 for the Red Eagles.

The final minutes went on and they kept trying to add more goals until the referee blew his final whistle to declare a victory for the Red Eagles at home.
