Nile Air has secured a place among the top regional airlines in Africa for the sixth consecutive year, according to the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026.
The airline ranked fourth among African regional airlines in 2026, maintaining the position for the fourth consecutive year since 2023. Nile Air has remained among the ranked airlines since it first entered the regular Skytrax evaluation in 2021.
The airline’s continued presence among the top-ranked regional carriers reflects the confidence of passengers in its services, as well as its ongoing efforts to improve its operations and maintain high safety and service standards. This comes alongside the company’s expansion plans, including increasing its fleet and launching new routes connecting with key regional and international markets.
Nile Air’s management expressed its pride in the international recognition, noting that maintaining its position encourages the airline to continue investing in the passenger experience, as well as upgrading its technology and services to meet customers’ expectations in the coming period.
