Egypt’s national carrier, EgyptAir, has announced the commencement of its first flights to Alamein on the North Coast, starting Thursday, July 11, 2024. This seasonal route will operate until September 14, depending on demand.
Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, stated that the airline will operate two weekly flights from Cairo to Alamein on Thursdays and Saturdays, using Boeing B737-800 aircraft. The flight, MS032, will depart Cairo International Airport at 23:15, arriving in Alamein at 00:25. The return flight, MS033, will depart Alamein at 01:05, arriving in Cairo at 02:15.
This initiative aims to promote domestic tourism and connect various tourist attractions within the country, making it easier for travellers to spend their summer holidays and weekends in the North Coast region.
