Chairman of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation (EHCAAN) Mohamed Saeed Mahrous confirmed that a review plan was approved in the field of occupational safety and health, including the the company and all its subsidiaries.
He added that the plan aims to continuously improve the performance of the company’s occupational safety and health system with the issuance and submission of periodic reports as a result of this review, to support appropriate decision-making towards aspects related to occupational safety and health at work, and to provide suggestions for how to deal with any problems.
The Chairman of the Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation explained that, in addition to the review plan, an awareness campaign in the field of occupational safety and health will be launched in co-operation with the Meteorological Authority and doctors from the Ministry of Health and the Drug Control Fund.
He added that the plan comes within the framework of improving the safety, health and occupational work system at Egyptian airports, workplaces and all facilities.
