The Egyptian Aviation Information Technology Company (AVIT) held a cybersecurity workshop on Wednesday, February 1, 2024. The workshop was sponsored by the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation.
The workshop was presented by Palo Alto Networks, a global leader in cybersecurity. The workshop covered a range of topics, including the latest cybersecurity threats facing the aviation industry, how to implement effective cybersecurity measures and how to train employees on cybersecurity best practices.
The workshop concluded with a number of recommendations for improving cybersecurity in the Egyptian aviation sector.
These recommendations include increased co-operation and coordination between stakeholders in the aviation sector, investment in new cybersecurity technologies and regular training for employees on cybersecurity.
