The Egyptian Airports Company has successfully obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certification after a thorough review conducted by SGS, the awarding body. This certification reflects the company’s commitment to improving operational performance at its headquarters and affiliated airports, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification is granted to organisations that adhere to international standards across all activities. This achievement aligns with the directives of Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation, which emphasises the importance of implementing global standards of quality and safety, and renewing international certifications across all entities and companies under its umbrella.
Captain Ahmed Mansour, Chairman of the Egyptian Airports Company, praised the dedication and hard work of employees at both the headquarters and airports, attributing the successful review to their efforts. He highlighted the importance of maintaining quality standards to enhance the level of service provided to passengers travelling through Egypt’s airports.
