EgyptAir Training Academy has successfully passed the periodic audit conducted by Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), resulting in the renewal of its certifications for quality management, educational organisations, environmental management, and occupational health and safety systems. The renewed certifications include ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 21001:2018.
SGS commended the systems implemented at the academy and praised the senior management’s commitment to applying both international and local quality standards. The company noted that these efforts contribute to improving the services provided by EgyptAir, particularly its training system.
Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company, said that the renewal of these international certifications reflects the academy’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and institutional excellence.
He added that the EgyptAir Training Academy plays an important role in preparing and qualifying human resources in line with the latest international standards, supporting the holding company’s strategy to enhance performance and strengthen EgyptAir’s competitiveness at both the regional and international levels.
Captain Walid Soliman, President of EgyptAir Training Academy, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all academy employees across its various departments, especially the General Quality Department and the Occupational Health and Safety Section.
He said that renewing these certifications reflects the academy’s continued commitment to applying international best practices and marks another achievement in its ongoing efforts to develop and improve its training system.
