EgyptAir and Samsung Electronics Egypt, a global leader in technology, have officially launched a strategic partnership aimed at delivering exclusive offers and enriching customer experiences, while simultaneously expanding e-commerce opportunities within the Egyptian market.

The collaboration was formally established during a signing ceremony held at EgyptAir’s administrative headquarters.

Key representatives from both organisations attended, including Ahmed Gaafar, Chief Marketing Officer for Samsung Electronics Egypt, and Ayman Bakry, Head of Retail and Marketing for Home Appliances, representing Samsung.

EgyptAir was represented by Amr Adawy, Head of Commercial Affairs, and Ahmed Wagdy, General Manager of Marketing.

This groundbreaking alliance marks a significant milestone, bringing together Egypt’s national airline and a prominent technology innovator.

The partnership is designed to provide consumers with a unique shopping experience, offering exclusive discounts on EgyptAir tickets when select Samsung products are purchased through Samsung’s official online store.

These exclusive benefits include discounts of up to 50% off the base ticket price, with the potential to obtain complimentary business and economy class tickets on EgyptAir flights.

Head of Commercial Affairs at EgyptAir Amr Adawy confirmed the airline’s commitment to strategic partnerships that benefit customers, particularly within the rapidly evolving technology sector.

“EgyptAir is keen to establish strategic partnerships aimed at serving customers, especially with companies operating in the technology sector,” stated Mr. Adawy. He added, “The world has recently witnessed tremendous development in artificial intelligence, which EgyptAir seeks to keep pace with by utilizing Samsung’s expertise and knowledge in the field in the subsequent stages of this collaboration.”

Adawy also highlighted EgyptAir’s ongoing dedication to enhancing customer service, citing the airline’s recent recognition with the “Best Crew Award” from the Skytrax World Airline Awards as a testament to its commitment to providing exceptional services to the Egyptian market.

Ahmed Gaafar, Chief Marketing Officer and E-Commerce Officer at Samsung Electronics Egypt, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership: “We are pleased to announce our collaboration with EgyptAir and sign a strategic partnership that reflects our ongoing commitment to providing true value and an integrated experience to our customers.

This partnership reflects our vision of integrating technology to enhance the quality of life for our customers.” Gaafar further explained, “Through our official online store, a key pillar of our strategy, we aim to meet customer needs by offering the latest and most advanced AI-powered devices.

This exclusive collaboration with EgyptAir provides a unique opportunity for our customers to enjoy unprecedented benefits when pre-ordering any of Samsung’s TVs through our official online store, allowing them to acquire cutting-edge Samsung TVs and experience a unique journey on EgyptAir flights.”

This initiative coincides with the pre-order launch for Samsung TVs, which commenced on July 15, 2025, via Samsung’s official website for a limited duration or while supplies last. Customers can avail themselves of these offers, subject to terms and conditions, with flight tickets becoming redeemable from September 15, 2025.

This initial offering represents the first phase of a broader strategic partnership between Samsung Electronics Egypt and EgyptAir.

Both organizations anticipate unveiling further special offers and exclusive experiences in the near future, reinforcing the added value provided to customers and solidifying the continuous co-operation between the two entities.
