The national air carrier, EgyptAir, decided to operate the first flight with environmentally friendly services and products, tomorrow from Cairo to Paris to be the first flight of its kind for an airline in the African continent.

Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar said that the Egyptian civil aviation sector is concerned with facing the effects of climate change through the existence of an integrated and sustainable environmental system that applies all local and international recommendations and legislations in the field of aviation related to environmental protection.

Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company Amr Aboul-Enein said that the national company’s conduct of this flight with environmentally friendly services and products comes within the framework of the company’s social responsibility and its efforts to reduce environmental pollution and enhance awareness of the harmful effects of using “single-use” plastics.
