Captain Mohamed Alyan, Chairman of EgyptAir Airlines, has appointed Amin Afifi as Assistant Head of the Commercial Affairs Sector for Stations. Afifi takes over from Khaled Attwa, who was recently named Chairman of EgyptAir Ground Services.
Prior to his new role, Afifi served as General Manager of External Stations, bringing extensive experience in station operations to his position. The appointment comes as part of ongoing leadership restructuring within the airline.
Egyptian pilot appointed vice-chair of media committee at Media Committee at Arab Civil Aviation OrganisationCaptain Karim Gamal, Advisor to the Head of the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, has been elected Vice-Chair of the Media and Communication Committee of the Arab Civil Aviation Organisation (ACAO) for a two-year term.
The position of Chair was secured by Musab Al-Hosani, Corporate Communication Director at the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority.The elections were held in Rabat, Morocco, with representatives from Morocco, the UAE, Algeria, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia participating. The committee oversees media and institutional communication strategies within the organisation.
