EgyptAir Hospital has successfully renewed its accreditation from the General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation (GAHAR) after passing the authority’s comprehensive assessment and audit of its medical and administrative systems and procedures. The evaluation confirmed the hospital’s compliance with quality and patient safety standards accredited by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua).
Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company, congratulated the hospital’s staff on the renewal, praising their dedicated efforts. He said the achievement reflects the professionalism of the hospital’s medical and administrative teams and their commitment to enhancing healthcare services in line with EgyptAir’s strategy to develop its medical services.
The renewed accreditation confirms the hospital’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient safety, while meeting occupational health and safety and pharmaceutical management requirements, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality healthcare services in accordance with the latest approved standards.
The achievement adds to EgyptAir Hospital’s record of accomplishments. It was the first hospital affiliated with Egypt’s public business sector to receive GAHAR accreditation and the second private hospital nationwide to obtain the accreditation, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s leading healthcare institutions serving civil aviation employees, their families, and the wider community.
