EgyptAir Hospital obtains approval of GAHAR

EgyptAir Medical Services has achieved a great achievement by obtaining the accreditation certificate from the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Control (GAHAR) as the first hospital in Egypt in the business sector and the second among private hospitals to obtain this certificate for a period of three years, after applying all standards of quality, safety and occupational health.

For his part, Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas Helmy congratulated all the employees of the EgyptAir Medical Services, expressing his happiness with this achievement, which reflects the great efforts made by the employees of the EgyptAir Hospital.

The minister urged all workers to exert more effort and dedication to work to provide distinguished medical services to all workers in the civil aviation sector, directing the need to adhere to the application of the highest quality standards in the hospital and to use the latest medical equipment and scientific and training programmes in the medical field.

For his part, Amr Aboul-Enein, Chairman of EgyptAir, thanked and appreciated all the employees of EgyptAir Hospital for their sincere efforts and success in achieving this great achievement, which contributes to improving the performance of the health system, optimising the use of available resources and using the scientific method in measuring and following up performance, continuous development and providing an environment Safe work for workers.

Ayman Salah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Medical Services, indicated that this success comes thanks to the efforts of the workers inside this ancient medical edifice and their keenness to perform their duties to the fullest, which culminated in the success in obtaining this accreditation, which reflects the high level of medical services provided to workers in the aviation sector.

He added that the hospital’s success in obtaining this certificate came after passing many steps of inspection in all its sectors by the GAHAR, which lasted for a year since the start of registration for obtaining this accreditation.

On the other hand, EgyptAir Hospital is preparing to achieve a new achievement, which is obtaining the “Green Hospital” accreditation certificate, as well as obtaining the “Temos” institution accreditation certificate, which qualifies the hospital to provide medical tourism services, in light of the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s plan to achieve sustainable development goals.
