During the Egypt International Air and Space Exhibition, EgyptAir Ground Services signed a new contract with Turkish airline A Jet to provide ground handling services at Egyptian airports.

The agreement, part of the activities at the EgyptAir pavilion, was signed by Eng. Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, and Eng. Ibrahim Fawzy, Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Ground Services.

The Turkish company was represented by the IAB agency, with Eng. Nevine Alish, Vice Chairwoman, signing on their behalf.

A Jet, one of Turkey’s leading charter airlines, is a sister company to Turkish Airlines, which is currently one of EgyptAir Ground Services’ largest clients.

A Jet has already commenced operations at Cairo Airport, with five weekly flights, and plans are underway to expand its services to all domestic airports in the near future.

The airline currently operates a fleet of over 80 aircraft, including Airbus A320 and A321 models as well as Boeing B737-800 and B737 Max jets.

EgyptAir Training Academy partners with Airbus to enhance A350-900 training programmes

EgyptAir Training Academy has signed a partnership agreement with Airbus during the Egypt International Air and Space Exhibition to support the airline’s fleet expansion, particularly its newly acquired A350-900 aircraft.

The partnership includes the provision of specialised training packages for engineers, utilising Airbus’ latest training methodology, the “Learn by Doing” system, known as Airbus Competency Training (ACT).

EgyptAir Training Academy will also seek certification for this training from the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

A commemorative photo was taken with the EgyptAir Training Academy delegation, led by Capt.

Walid Suleiman, Chairman of the Academy, alongside representatives from Airbus, marking the partnership and celebrating the strengthening of co-operation between the two parties.
