Ayman Fawzy Arab, Chairman of Egypt’s Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation, was appointed yesterday as a permanent member of the Airports Council International (ACI) Board for the Africa region.
Expressing his pride, Fawzy has reiterated Egypt’s commitment to maintaining a strong presence within ACI Africa, which serves as the voice for African airports.He has said that ACI Africa brings together top aviation experts, focusing on economic development, environmental sustainability, and advancing the air transport industry.
Key priorities include promoting renewable energy, energy efficiency, and fostering regional co-operation to support a unified African aviation sector.
As one of ACI Africa’s founding members, Egypt plays a key role in the organization’s board, which consists of 15 members representing the continent’s leading aviation authorities.
