EgyptAir for Maintenance and Engineering has succeeded in renewing the ISO 14001/2015 accreditation in the Environmental Management System internationally.

The renewal of these accreditations comes within the framework of the directives of Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar that all companies and bodies affiliated with the ministry should abide by international standards and maintain international and local accreditations in a manner that guarantees occupational safety and health for all employees.

Amr Aboul-Enein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir, thanked and appreciated the employees of EgyptAir for Maintenance and Engineering for their efforts in renewing the accreditation for the fourth year in a row and their successive successes in passing the various inspections as a result of their constant commitment to the legislation governing the work.

For his part, Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir for Maintenance and Engineering, explained that the inspection aims to ensure compliance with all standards of environmental, safety and occupational health management systems and evaluate the effectiveness of the system in order to develop overall performance, achieve the desired goals and continue sustainable development.

He added that the work team of the company that carried out the inspection expressed admiration for the distinguished level of EgyptAir in conformity with the terms of accreditation and the full awareness of occupational safety, health and environmental protection among the company’s employees.

In 2018, accreditation was granted to EgyptAir for Maintenance and Engineering for the first time, followed by three inspections in 2019, 2020 and 2021, and the company passed them successfully.
