From Cairo International Airport to Kinshasa International Airport in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, EgyptAir Cargo successfully carried out an exceptional operation to transport a large shipment of lighting equipment with non-standard dimensions, ensuring high operational efficiency and the highest standards of safety and quality.

The total weight of the shipment was approximately 22 tonnes, divided into seven large packages, each measuring 9 m × 130 cm × 125 cm, with an average weight ranging between 2,900 kg and 3,300 kg per package.

Despite the logistical challenges related to the shipment’s size and weight, the EgyptAir Cargo team managed to professionally coordinate and plan the loading process with utmost precision, enabling the entire shipment to be transported on a single flight.

This measure significantly contributed to reducing operational costs, while ensuring client satisfaction by guaranteeing fast delivery, preserving the aircraft’s interior structure, and facilitating quick unloading operations at Kinshasa International Airport.

This achievement is yet another testament to EgyptAir Cargo’s capability to handle special, heavy, and complex shipments with high efficiency, reinforcing its position as a trusted provider in global supply chains and a strategic partner relied upon for the execution of specialised logistical operations.
