Chairman of EgyptAir Pilot Ahmed Adel recently held a meeting with Head of the Egyptian Actors Syndicate Dr Ashraf Zaki and Senator Yasser Galal to discuss new ways the national airline and Egypt’s creative community can work together.
The gathering focused on how the aviation sector and the arts can join forces to better represent Egypt on the global stage.
During the talks, Zaki praised EgyptAir as a national icon, famously calling it the fourth pyramid.
He expressed great pride in the airline’s role as a global ambassador, specifically highlighting the discipline of the pilots and the professionalism of the cabin crew.
He noted that their high standards and commitment to safety are a major source of national pride for all Egyptians.

Yasser Galal added that supporting the national carrier is a matter of national importance.
He explained that because EgyptAir is often the first experience international guests have when visiting the country, its world-class service is essential for showing off Egypt’s modernisation.
He emphasised that the airline’s prestigious reputation is a key part of the country’s hospitality and professional image.
In response, Pilot Ahmed Adel reaffirmed EgyptAir’s commitment to supporting the arts as a vital form of soft power.
He welcomed the partnership with the Actors’ Syndicate, noting that the creative industry plays a huge role in shaping how the world sees Egypt.
By working together, the airline and the arts community aim to showcase the best of Egyptian identity and excellence to the rest of the world.
