EgyptAir Academy approved for Airbus A350 training 13 - Egyptian Gazette

By Mohamed Attia

The EgyptAir Training Academy has achieved major success by earning official approval to teach courses for the advanced Airbus A350 aircraft.

This certification covers the academy’s classroom lessons, hands-on practical training, and its team of expert instructors.

The approval was granted by two major aviation watchdogs: the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA).

Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, explained that this achievement is a vital part of the airline’s bigger plan to upgrade its fleet and prepare the next generation of aviation workers.

He stated that this approval proves international authorities highly trust EgyptAir’s training systems and facilities.

He also noted that upgrading an airline is not just about buying new planes, but also about training people to handle new technology safely and according to the highest global standards.

Captain Walid Suleiman, Head of the EgyptAir Training Academy, praised the hard work of the engineers and quality control teams who made this achievement possible.

He emphasised that this success proves the academy is ready to support EgyptAir’s growth by offering top-tier training that meets the highest international standards.

To provide the best learning experience, the academy is using Airbus’s latest digital tool, called the Airbus Competency Trainer (ACT).

With this new official approval, the academy is now fully authorised to train EgyptAir’s engineers in three key areas: aircraft bodies, engines, and electrical and cockpit systems.
