Sameh El-Hefny, Egypt’s Civil Aviation Minister, welcomed Sami El-Sherif, Secretary-General of the Association of Islamic Universities, along with several university presidents, deans, and representatives. The meeting was attended by Pilot Montaser Manna, Deputy Civil Aviation Minister, Pilot Ezzat Metwally, President of the Egyptian Aviation Academy, and Alawi Issa El-Khouli, Dean of the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering.
The discussions focused on fostering collaboration between the Egyptian Aviation Academy and the Association of Islamic Universities. The key agenda was to explore mechanisms for developing specialised educational and training programmes across various fields, aiming for comprehensive training and scientific co-operation.
Minister El-Hefny welcomed El-Sherif and his delegation, commending the Association’s significant role in providing educational and theoretical services worldwide. He emphasised the Civil Aviation Ministry’s commitment to supporting collaboration in both theoretical and practical training to cultivate skilled professionals across various sectors. This initiative aligns with the ministry’s efforts to exchange expertise and enhance skills according to the highest global quality standards.
El-Sherif expressed the Association’s readiness to offer full co-operation with the ministry to achieve shared goals. He assured the provision of necessary support in all educational and research fields for students across various disciplines.
