Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas Helmy received Bulgarian Minister of Transport and Communications Georgi Gvozdeykov to discuss ways to enhance the mechanisms of joint cooperation between the two countries in the fields of civil aviation.
Minister Helmy expressed his aspiration to push for more horizons of co-operation, strengthen effective partnerships and exchange experiences between Egypt and Bulgaria in the field of the air transport industry in a way that contributes to achieving the common interests of the two countries. For his part, Gvozdeykov affirmed his country’s keenness to strengthen ties and co-operation with Egypt as one of the pivotal countries in the Middle East and Africa region, pointing out that the current period has witnessed the signing of many agreements between the two countries in various fields, which reflects the depth and importance of bilateral relations between Egypt and Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian minister also praised the development work witnessed by the Egyptian civil aviation sector in various activities during the current period, expressing his aspiration to open more horizons of co-operation and new partnerships with the Egyptian side to transfer their experience in the field of air transport, especially in the field of pilot and air traffic control training.
