Airbus is investing in artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing to accelerate aircraft design, improve manufacturing efficiency and develop more sustainable solutions.
The company is also using AI to create and update technical manuals, while developing what is known as “physical AI,” which learns from real-world data.
In the field of quantum computing, Airbus is developing highly precise sensors that could be used to improve aircraft navigation by measuring the Earth’s magnetic field and determining an aircraft’s position more accurately. The goal is to develop more reliable navigation systems in the future.
