'No one can harm Egypt' 12 - Egyptian Gazette

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s recent message to the Egyptian people was one of unity, resilience, and hope.

At a time of economic and geopolitical challenges, his words serve as a powerful reminder of the enduring strength of the Egyptian nation.

Addressing the audience during the Ministry of Endowments’ celebration of Laylat al-Qadr at the New Administrative Capital’s Arts and Culture City, the president underscored the nation’s ability to withstand adversity and emerge stronger.

His remarks were particularly significant given speculation by some that Egypt’s difficulties would lead to division or instability.

Instead, he highlighted the unwavering spirit of the Egyptian people, describing them as a consolidated and resilient nation.

His words not only reassured the public but also reinforced the importance of unity in the face of external and internal pressures.

The president’s participation in the event also carried deep symbolic meanings. Laylat al-Qadr, one of the holiest nights in the Islamic calendar, signifies divine revelation and guidance.

By choosing this occasion to deliver his message, Sisi connected the themes of faith, perseverance, and national strength.

His gesture of honouring winners of the 31st International Quran Competition further emphasised Egypt’s role as a beacon of religious and cultural leadership in the Muslim world.

Beyond spiritual and moral themes, President Sisi’s speech also touched upon practical aspects of nation-building.

He stressed the importance of investing in human development, preserving national identity, and fostering a cohesive society through education, media, and religious discourse.

His call for a balanced and enlightened approach to shaping societal values is timely, especially in an era where misinformation and divisive narratives pose threats to national stability.

Equally important was his reaffirmation of Egypt’s commitment to regional stability, particularly regarding the Palestinian cause.

His pledge to support efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza and mobilise international partners for peace reflects Egypt’s longstanding role as a mediator in the region.

This stance aligns with Egypt’s broader vision of securing a just and lasting resolution to conflicts in the Middle East.

In concluding his speech, President Sisi assured Egyptians that no harm could come to their nation, as long as they remain united.

This message, coming at a sacred time, serves as both a source of comfort and a call to action.

Egypt’s strength lies in its people, their resilience, and their commitment to progress.

As the country navigates challenges, this moment of reassurance from its leader reinforces the idea that the nation’s destiny is shaped by its collective will.

President Sisi’s address was more than just words. It was a reaffirmation of Egypt’s unwavering spirit and its unwavering faith in a better future.
