UK trade minister hopes Britain will rejoin EU

Britain’s trade minister Chris Bryant said Tuesday he hopes to one day see his country rejoin the European Union, in a further sign the UK is headed for a new domestic fight over Brexit.

Race to find vaccines, treatments for Ebola strain behind outbreak

An escalating outbreak of a rare Ebola strain in the Democratic Republic of Congo has kicked off a race to find vaccines and treatments that can be quickly tested and rolled out to save lives and stem the crisis.

More than l30 people have died so far during the outbreak, the World Health Organization said on Tuesday, as the United States warned its citizens not to travel to the affected region.

Egypt placed in Group B of 2027 AFCON qualifiers

Egypt’s national football team was drawn in Group B alongside Angola, Malawi and South Sudan in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

The draw ceremony was held Tuesday at the Egyptian Football Association’s Goal Project headquarters in 6th of October City.
