Chairman of the Board of Directors of the State Information Service (SIS) Ambassador Alaa Youssef has said that Egyptian-Turkish relations are witnessing significant development, driven by historical ties, shared interests and growing bilateral coordination.
Youssef made the remarks during his meeting on Wednesday with Turkish Ambassador to Cairo Saleh Mutlu Şen to discuss ways to enhance co-operation between Egypt and Türkiye in the media field.
During the meeting, Youssef said the shared vision of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has helped advance relations towards broader horizons and strengthen co-operation across various fields.
‘Abu Tartour complex to maximise value of Egypt’s mineral resources’
Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Engineer Karim Badawi said on Wednesday that transforming the Mineral Resources and Mining Industries Authority into an economic authority represents a pivotal step for Egypt’s mining sector, creating a more flexible system to streamline procedures, support investors, reduce risks, attract investment and establish industries based on mineral resources.
