The Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), Mostafa Sheikhoun, on Wednesday met a high-level delegation from Japan’s Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC), led by the President and Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Tsusho Group, Toshimitsu Imai, at SCZone’s headquarters in Port Said to discuss strengthening co-operation and exploring new investment opportunities.
Arab, Islamic countries welcome UK ban on imports from illegal Israeli settlements
The Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia welcome the decision of the United Kingdom government to ban imports of goods from illegal Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and to introduce restrictions on services linked to such settlements.
In a joint statement issued on Wednesday, the ministers view these measures as an important step towards upholding international law and promoting accountability for settlement-related activities.
Nepal turns to drones to deliver flood relief
