Madbouly inaugurates two Technovision factories in Ain Sokhna

Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated on Sunday two factories operated by Technovision for Industry and Trade in the Ain Sokhna Industrial Zone, part of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, with combined investments of $16 million.

The two factories, located within Orascom Industrial Zones, specialise in equipping ambulances, mobile clinics and blood banks, as well as assembling dental machines, chairs and equipment.

Egypt, Mali discuss expanding co-operation in health, education

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Egyptians Abroad, Dr Badr Abdel-Aaty, affirmed Egypt’s pride in its historical and fraternal relations with Mali and its keenness to continue developing bilateral co-operation in various fields, particularly health, education, and technical and vocational education and training.

Abdel-Aaty made the remarks during his meeting on Sunday with Minister of Entrepreneurship, Employment and Technical Training ofg the Republic of Mali, Oumou Sall Seck, on the sidelines of the seventh meeting of the Dialogue between Technical Co-operation Agencies of the Member States of the Islamic Development Bank, held in Cairo.

PM: Egypt’s economic strategy focuses on skills, industry, investment

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said on Sunday that Egypt’s current economic course is focused on building a skilled workforce, deepening and localising industry, and attracting major investments from leading manufacturers worldwide, stressing that the growing number of productive projects across the country demonstrates the tangible progress being made in the national economy.

Speaking at a press conference following his tour of the integrated industrial zone in Ain Sokhna, affiliated with the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone, the prime minister said he regularly visits the zone to inaugurate new factories, projects and expansions.

Kushner and Witkoff travelled ‌from Moscow, where they held three hours of talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday but did not appear to secure a breakthrough in the conflict.

Nepali woman found alive days after family began mourning rites

Believing she had perished in Nepal’s deadly floods, the family of Chandika Kumari ‌Shrestha started the ritual of mourning the elderly woman’s death.

Ten days later, rescuers found her alive inside her collapsed home in the devastated Betrawati village, where she had survived in a narrow pocket of air amid water and mud.
