Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Egyptians Abroad Badr Abdelatty on Thursday stressed Egypt’s firm positions on regional and international issues, expressing Egypt’s categorical rejection of Israeli annexation and settlement policies and settler violence.
He also stressed the need to preserve the historical and legal status quo of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
During a meeting with European Union ambassadors accredited to Egypt, Minister Abdelatty welcomed the joint statement by foreign ministers, including those of EU members France, Denmark, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden, on the two-state solution and banning settlement-product imports.
SCZone chairman, Singaporean envoy mull ways to expand investment, industrial co-operation
Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), Mostafa Sheikhon, received on Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Egypt, Dominic Goh, at the Authority’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital to discuss strengthening economic and investment co-operation and exploring new opportunities for industrial and logistics projects. Several SCZone executive leaders attended the meeting.
Chairman Mostafa Shikhon highlighted the SCZone’s strategic investment advantages, including its industrial zones, integrated ports, logistics services and range of investment incentives.
