The foreign ministers of Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia on Friday condemned Israel’s continued settlement policies in the occupied Palestinian territories and rejected its E1 settlement plan east of occupied east Jerusalem.
In a joint statement, the ministers also denounced settler violence against Palestinians and their property, saying it was carried out with the support of Israeli authorities.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said that the giant Julius Nyerere Dam and Hydroelectric Power Station in Tanzania, implemented by an Egyptian consortium, stands as a prominent example of Egypt’s soft power in Africa.
In press remarks on the sidelines of his visit to Tanzania on Friday to attend the opening ceremony of the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Plant and Dam, Madbouly said the project’s successful completion was the result of close and continuous follow-up by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi throughout its various implementation stages.
Türkiye issues warrant for Netanyahu over Gaza flotilla
Türkiye has issued an international arrest warrant for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as part of an investigation into Israel’s interception of an aid flotilla for Gaza, Justice Minister Akin Gurlek announced Friday on X.
Türkiye has already issued warrants against Netanyahu and other top officials for “genocide” over Israel’s actions in its war against Hamas in Gaza.
Egypt economy grows 5.2% in 9 months despite global challenges
Egypt’s economy grew 5.2 per cent during the first nine months of the last fiscal year, Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Rostom said, highlighting its resilience despite global and geopolitical pressures.
Rostom made the remarks during a meeting with CEO of Forbes Global Properties Michael Gilbert and CEO of Magnom Properties Maged Marei to discuss expanding investment in Egypt and the role of real estate in supporting sustainable development under the country’s Vision 2030 strategy.
