The Embassy of Pakistan in Cairo commemorated the 84th National Day of Pakistan in a ceremony held on Saturday. The event was marked by traditional zeal and fervor.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt, Sajid Bilal, hoisted the national flag while the national anthem played.
Prayers for Pakistan’s well-being, peace, and prosperity were also offered. Messages of congratulations from the President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out during the ceremony.
Earlier, the Chamberlain of the Egyptian Presidency visited Ambassador Bilal and delivered a warm message from President
Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the occasion of Pakistan’s National Day.
The embassy also hosted a National Day Reception earlier this month. The event was graced by Engineer Mahmoud Esmat, Egypt’s Minister of Public Business Sector, as the chief guest.
A significant number of Egyptian government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, the business community, academia, journalists, and the Pakistani community in Egypt attended the reception.
