Nabawi to star in new film about Egyptian civilisation

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el-Anani met yesterday renowned Egyptian international actor Khaled el-Nabawi at the Pyramid of Djoser in the Saqqara necropolis.
El-Nabawi is expected to participate in a promotional film about ancient Egyptian civilisation.
The film, which will feature scenes from a wide range of tourist and ancient sites that, aims to raise awareness about Egypt’s civilisation and its tourist destinations.
It also aims to promote Egypt’s national tourist products locally and at the Arab and international levels.
El-Nabawi was selected to star in the film, thanks to his fondness of the ancient Egyptian civilisation, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said.
He launched a campaign a few years ago to invite international tourists to visit the heritage-rich country.
Titled “Come to Egypt”, the campaign was strongly welcomed both locally and internationally.
El-Nabawi also participated in a number of international films, raising the profile of local actors in international cinema.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities produced numerous films to promote local tourist destinations and products in the past period.
