Amer Holding Group (“Amer”) has announced that Porto Marina will host the inaugural event of “The Boat Club – Egypt”, an initiative launched by the organisers of the Egypt International Boat Show (EIBS). The event is scheduled to run from 31 July to 15 August at Porto Marina on the North Coast.

The hosting aligns with Amer’s strategic vision to consolidate Porto Marina’s position as a premier destination for maritime and leisure tourism in Egypt. The collaboration aims to promote and boost yacht and boat tourism by bringing together leading companies and professionals from across the maritime sector.

Porto Marina’s hosting of the maiden “The Boat Club – Egypt” event builds upon the success achieved by the Egypt International Boat Show over eight consecutive editions. The event serves as a platform connecting key stakeholders and enthusiasts in the boating and yachting industry, including manufacturers, importers, agents, and boat owners. Furthermore, events will be organised across various coastal ports and tourism developments to showcase local and international brands, complemented by a wide array of marine and recreational activities.

The decision to choose Porto Marina for the inaugural edition of “The Boat Club – Egypt” coincides with Amer’s reopening of the resort following the completion of recent redevelopment work. Upgrades encompassed M Hotels, restaurants, and the yacht marina in the city of El Alamein on the North Coast, alongside the addition of several new facilities and services. These enhancements aim to deliver a fully integrated experience for visitors and strengthen Porto Marina’s standing as one of the North Coast’s landmark tourist and entertainment destinations.

The event will showcase a selection of locally manufactured and imported boats alongside a programme of maritime and leisure activities designed to connect boat and yacht owners, sailing enthusiasts, and water sports lovers. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the sector’s latest offerings in an environment that reflects the event’s core mission and character.
